Hunter Ewing III

Hunter Ewing III serves as the Director of Private Lines Insurance at High Ground Company. In this role, Hunter manages all facets of a client’s personal insurance relationship, including new business development, underwriting, and client service. His expertise lies in crafting customized insurance structures designed to comprehensively manage a family’s entire risk portfolio, with a particluar emphasis on mitigating liability exposures. Hunter deeply values his client relationships and the trust they place in him and High Ground. Understanding that personal insurance is a critical component of a family’s overall financial plan, Hunter ensures that his approach remains adaptable and responsive. To that end, he prioritizes open communication, frequently connecting with clients to guarantee their needs are consistently met.

Hunter began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst at Raymond James. After a year and a half, he played a key role in establishing Citi’s Private Banking presence in Atlanta and the broader Southeast. During his time at Citi, Hunter served affluent families as an Associate Banker and Capital Markets Associate. In 2022, he transitioned from banking to co-found High Ground Risk alongside his father, Hunter Ewing II.

Hunter resides in Sandy Springs, GA, with his wife, Sarah Sharpley Ewing, and their English Cocker Spaniel, Oatie. Outside of work, Hunter is an avid pickleball player, continually improving his golf game, and honing his skills as a grill master and chef. He has also cultivated an enjoyment for gardening and landscaping his yard. Hunter is a proud alumnus of the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!) and the McCallie School (Go Big Blue!).
